On the evening of the 17th of October, this year's display Superstar Awards were presented for the best POS solutions. In the Hilton Goldsaal in Mainz, 160 international guests from retail, agencies and designers as well as brand manufacturers gathered to select the best exhibits in the various categories. These included packaging, digital signage solutions as well as product-carrying and self-presenting displays. The total of 64 exhibits from 67 brands were judged by the eight-member jury according to strict criteria such as design, communication, technical execution, innovation and functionality. VKF Renzel, represented by Marc Berger and Peter Hetkamp, entered two innovative exhibits at the awards ceremony.
The FlexiSlot® Theme Column "World of Life" took part in the category "Wood, Plastic and Metal Self-promoting". This was commissioned by Baumit GmbH and designed especially for the building materials and painting trade. Therefore, a holder for colour fans as well as U-pockets for samples could not be missing on the slat wall column.
In addition, a colour scale panel was installed in order to provide the customer with a comprehensive overview. The brochure holders offer additional space for information material. All these elements, such as the brochure holder, box, U-pockets and colour fan holder, can be flexibly hung in the slat wall and can be supplemented with further product carriers as desired.

Gold Award for the POS Cooler
VKF Renzel was particularly impressive with the POS Cooler in the category "Wood, Plastic and Metal Counter", which received the Gold Award. The refrigerated display case was developed as a beverage can dispenser for the counter area in petrol stations. It was commissioned by Lekkerland SE to promote the energy drink "Take Off". With its modern design, up to 16 cans can be presented in a space-saving way. Due to the slanted storage of the cans, they always roll to the front so that they are always within reach for the customer. In addition, the POS Cooler is fully recyclable, energy-saving and maintenance-free, as it cools without chemicals.
